Having said that WebVR also supports some of the Cardboard functions and you can enable them on an Android phone using the /vr link .We support the Aframe API which is the official API for all VR related content on browsers.
Here is a link of all the browsers that are supported.
https://aframe.io/docs/1.6.0/introduction/vr-headsets-and-webxr-browsers.html
For Meta Quest
We recommend using the tour link with a /vr for better use on the Meta Quest
For eg.
If the tour link is https://teliportme.com/virtualtour/b4e2d97f then use this link https://teliportme.com/virtualtour/b4e2d97f/vr
Note : Not all functionality and features work in the VR browsers because they are not natively supported.
OR if you just want that to the default you can enable the "Advanced VR" option
When enabled the VR "icon" will take you directly to the WebVR link.
Google Cardboard
The Google cardboard project has been dead for a while : https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality/comments/1df6cij/is_google_cardboard_totally_dead/?rdt=45318
We are moving most of our VR support to WebVR which is the best and most updated browser based VR solution.
Even Apple Vision Pro has started to provide support : https://x.com/AdaRoseCannon/status/1835739519766945793
